What it is

VCI stretch wrap film is made from polyethylene (usually LLDPE) infused with VCI additives. These additives release corrosion-inhibiting vapors that form a protective molecular layer on metal surfaces.

How it works

• The film is wrapped around metal items or pallets
• VCI molecules slowly vaporize inside the sealed package
• These vapors settle on exposed metal surfaces
• A thin invisible layer forms, preventing moisture, oxygen, and contaminants from causing rust
